Frequently Asked Questions

What do you actually do?

We help individuals and families trace and recover lost or unclaimed financial assets — such as shares, dividends, or investments — in South Africa.

How do I know if I have unclaimed shares?

You don’t have to know — that’s what we check! We run a full trace based on your or a deceased person’s information and tell you if anything is owed.

Is it really free to check?

Yes, initial tracing is 100% free and carries no obligation. You only choose to proceed once you know what might be recovered.

What are your fees?
  • A one-time fixed fee (quoted upfront), and

  • A 10% contingency fee (no recovery, no payment)

How long does the process take?

It depends on the complexity, but initial tracing usually takes 3–7 business days. Full recovery may take a few weeks to a few months.

What do I need to provide?

Usually just your name, ID number (or deceased’s), and any known share/investment info. We’ll guide you through everything.

Is this secure and confidential?

Yes. All investigations are private, and we follow South African data privacy regulations strictly.

Can you help with deceased estates?

Absolutely. We work with heirs, executors, and family members to trace shares in estates and assist with recovery.
