Additionally, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) noted in February 2025 that around R4.5 billion in unclaimed dividends are held by listed companies. These figures are based on data from the FSCA and JSE, though the total amount may be higher due to inconsistent definitions and reporting of unclaimed assets.
